ABOUT

The common threads throughout my working life have been learning and development, knowledge sharing and connection between people. How do we go beyond our self-imposed limits and perceived constraints? What does it take to realise potential, in our self and in others? These questions have taken me on a journey of exploration.

Introduced to coaching in 1991, I learnt from the early pioneers of coaching, such as Thomas J Leonard and Miles Downey, and applied everything I learnt to my own development and that of my colleagues and clients. Working on national and European training policy and programmes, I could see that coaching could have greater impact than training alone and that is the direction I moved into when I launched my coaching business in 2007.

Trained in Psychology, Linguistics, Communication, and Information Science, I have held leadership positions in the public sector (UK and international) and founded two training and development companies working across Europe and throughout the African continent.

I am an accredited Senior Coach Practitioner, Coach Supervisor and Team Coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). I serve as Vice-President on the Board of EMCC Belgium.

I am a nature-loving bookworm with an enthusiasm for meeting new people and visiting new places. Born in the North of England, I have lived and worked in Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium. I work in English and French and I am always curious to learn a few words in every language I come across.
